A bohemian and inviting hotel in Montmartre
Monsieur Aristide, a 4-star boutique hotel, has set up shop in one of the small, paved streets of the Butte Montmartre. A nineteenth-century building houses the hotel's 25 rooms and suites, set around a secret garden. An open and unique home, the pieces of furniture have mostly been found in flea markets, here and elsewhere. There is also a restaurant offering authentic cuisine bistro based on seasonal, a musical cocktail bar and a garden under the stars. It is a hybrid and lively place where the evenings are extended for the neighborhood locals and those travelers who have made it their pied-à-terre.
Monsieur Aristide pays tribute to the famous singer of the Belle Époque, illustrated by Toulouse Lautrec.
The Rooms
They have been designed as a color chart that integrates harmoniously with the architecture of the building. The tone of the rooms matches the light as one mounts the stairs. Their decorations have been composed in accordance with the dominant colors. Some overlook the interior garden with large bay windows. Others have large terraces. On the top floor, duplex suites offer breathtaking views of the roofs of Paris.
Musical instruments are left here and there, at the disposal of traveling musicians.
Café Aristide
Café Aristide is a restaurant and bar that resurrects the lightness of the artistic cabarets from the hills of Montmartre. In the image of the hotel’s bohemian atmosphere, the café’s joyful team presents a bistro style cuisine, tasty and delicious. The team of bartenders has put its imagination to the service of the bar. The cocktails are unique creations for the café. Aperitif is served until late into the evening.
At Monsieur Aristide, the bar is its own atmosphere, a sense of hospitality and energy of its charismatic bartenders.
A refuge in the middle of the city, the outdoor spaces of Café Aristide invites one to laze about.
Monsieur Aristide, friend of nature
Monsieur Aristide was conceived with the desire to contribute to a world responsible for its environment. The least amount of new objects were used. The restaurant’s terrazzo floor was designed from materials taken from the demolition. And equally, the installation of the solar panels, from a rainwater recovery tank…
Monsieur Aristide, Adresses Hôtels
More than just a collection of boutique hotels, ADRESSES HOTELS are heartbeats born out of a desire to create iconic places that reflect their neighborhoods. They could be those addresses that are only shared by word of mouth, and that should not be talked about too much for fear of losing their essence.
These places combine the conviviality of a family home with the comfort of a grand hotel. They are scattered throughout the busiest neighborhoods of Paris and beyond, and have taken root without altering or disrupting their surroundings, blending in with discretion and humility.
Each hotel tells a story, with a unique décor and atmosphere that is an extension of the surrounding streets. The men and women who work tirelessly every day to ensure everyone’s comfort are the soulful supplement that makes ADRESSES HOTELS so special.
