A bohemian and inviting hotel in Montmartre
Monsieur Aristide, a 4-star boutique hotel, has set up shop in one of the small, paved streets of the Butte Montmartre. A nineteenth-century building houses the hotel's 25 rooms and suites, set around a secret garden. An open and unique home, the pieces of furniture have mostly been found in flea markets, here and elsewhere. There is also a restaurant offering authentic cuisine bistro based on seasonal, a musical cocktail bar and a garden under the stars. It is a hybrid and lively place where the evenings are extended for the neighborhood locals and those travelers who have made it their pied-à-terre.
Monsieur Aristide pays tribute to the famous singer of the Belle Époque, illustrated by Toulouse Lautrec.
The Rooms
They have been designed as a color chart that integrates harmoniously with the architecture of the building. The tone of the rooms matches the light as one mounts the stairs. Their decorations have been composed in accordance with the dominant colors. Some overlook the interior garden with large bay windows. Others have large terraces. On the top floor, duplex suites offer breathtaking views of the roofs of Paris.
Musical instruments are left here and there, at the disposal of traveling musicians.
Café Aristide
Café Aristide is a restaurant and bar that resurrects the lightness of the artistic cabarets from the hills of Montmartre. In the image of the hotel’s bohemian atmosphere, the café’s joyful team presents a bistro style cuisine, tasty and delicious. The team of bartenders has put its imagination to the service of the bar. The cocktails are unique creations for the café. Aperitif is served until late into the evening.
At Monsieur Aristide, the bar is its own atmosphere, a sense of hospitality and energy of its charismatic bartenders.
A refuge in the middle of the city, the outdoor spaces of Café Aristide invites one to laze about.
Monsieur Aristide, friend of nature
Monsieur Aristide was conceived with the desire to contribute to a world responsible for its environment. The least amount of new objects were used. The restaurant’s terrazzo floor was designed from materials taken from the demolition. And equally, the installation of the solar panels, from a rainwater recovery tank…
Monsieur Aristide, Chapitre Six Hotels
Writing stories, bringing houses to life. Inventing places to live, feel, and dream. Chapitre Six imagines unique hotels, chosen for the strength of their location and the beauty of their atmosphere. Homes on a human scale, shaped by the vision of architects, artists, and artisans of beauty. Living spaces, inhabited by a single spirit: that of discreet luxury and understated elegance. In Paris, we move from the Champs-Élysées to Saint-Germain, from Pigalle to the Opera. Further afield, we escape to Saint-Tropez, linger at Cap d'Antibes, breathe in the Folie Barbizon, and rediscover the hushed tranquility of the snow-covered landscapes of Megève. Everywhere, there is a common thread: soothing nights, tables that bring people together, sensitive places where time stands still. The past flirts with the present, dreams invite themselves into reality—and each house writes its own story.
